The eGift Card can be combined with another form of payment to complete a purchase. Be sure to notify the cashier before they process your purchase to ensure they are able to complete a split payment transaction.

Notify eGift Card Customer Service via email at Lost or stolen gift cards may not be replaced without adequate proof of purchase (original gift card receipt), and the corresponding gift card number. Please treat eGift Card as cash, if it is lost or stolen there is the possibility of the card being used by someone other than yourself. eGift Card cannot refund any lost funds but unused funds can be transferred to a new card for a fee of $5.00 (price does not include shipping if applicable).

You can check your eGift Card balance at or by calling 1-800-755-0085. Plus, when you use your Local Gift Card, the approval code at the bottom of your receipt represents your remaining balance. Example 58X17 = $58.17

Depends completely on the businesses return policy. The eGift Card businesses have their own return policies and are not associated with eGift Card.

Our gift cards will work on your existing point of sale. No additional hardware required. They even work on square.

Our fees are due annually and are valid for 12 months regardless of when you sign up. If you sign up in May you would be up for renewal the following May. There are no additional fees.

Listings are displayed once your listing has at least a logo, basic description and contact info. We know first hand how busy business owners are so we want to ensure you have time to complete your listing before it goes live.

We will email/phone you to arrange a time to come by and register your POS (Point of Sale) terminal. Once your POS is registered you are able to accept The Local Gift Card.

Yes. If you are a solopreneur who works from home, are a local non-profit or farmer please email us with your contact information. If you meet our criteria we will send you a link to register at a reduced rate. We want to make sure our program is accessible to everyone.
